Tryve is moving into a new 432 square meter office in Edegem, and we’re looking for a motivated interior design student to help shape the layout and design of this new workspace. The building is technically finished (electricity, ventilation, sanitary facilities, and heating are already in place, and carpet has been laid), but still needs to be fully designed and furnished. This is a unique opportunity to apply your creativity and expertise to a real project, with a direct impact on the daily work environment of the entire Tryve team. This role can be filled as a summer job, student job, or flexi-job, depending on what best fits your situation.

Role and Responsibilities

You’ll help design and furnish our new office in Edegem, from initial concept to execution, working closely with management and the parties involved in the renovation.

Concept & Design: Develop an interior concept that reflects Tryve's identity and culture, balancing functionality with visual appeal for both employees and visitors.
Space Planning: Design a layout for the 432 square meters, taking into account workstations, meeting rooms, common areas, and circulation flow.
Material & Furniture Selection: Propose materials, colors, lighting, and furniture that fit the concept and available budget.
Collaboration with Contractors & Suppliers: Support communication with contractors, suppliers, and the fit-out team to bring the design to life practically and on time.
Visualization & Presentation: Create plans and renders to present the concept to management and refine it based on feedback.

Skills and Experience

Student in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field
Strong affinity with design, space planning, and materials
Knowledge of design software (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is a plus
Creative, solution-oriented, and detail-focused
Able to work independently while also processing feedback and collaborating with different stakeholders
Interest in combining aesthetics with functionality within a business environment
Fluent in Dutch or English
